Calling all CAV Members:
Who would like to showcase their unique and prized Audi vehicles, vintage or modern, in the most prestigious motor show in Melbourne?
We have been approached by the organizer of "Motors and Masterpieces" to participate in their inaugural car show as a Club Entry.
(The organizer is the same people who have been organizing the "MotorClassica Concourse" at Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton all these years, which we have participated in 2019. This year they are trying a similar show but at Melbourne Showgrounds.)
As a car club, we can fill up to 10 cars to display at one, two or all three days in the show weekend (Friday, 22nd Nov, Saturday, 23rd Nov, or Sunday 24th Nov)
More details can be found in the link here: https://www.motorsandmasterpieces.com/club-terms
The perks of participating are:
- Two free general admission passes for each approved exhibiting vehicle.
- Club members not displaying vehicles can be provided with a 20% discount code for general admission tickets.
- For tickets purchased by club members, there will be a draw in each eastern state for two nights' accommodation for two people, plus upgrades to VIP passes, encompassing the Motors & Masterpieces cocktail party.
- Club displays can be rotated throughout the event's three days, ensuring different vehicles can be featured.
- The opportunity for the club to display marketing collateral to thousands of enthusiasts visiting the event.
- We encourage clubs to join in the fun of theming and choreography - let your imagination run wild!
- Submissions for entries are due by the end of September, while members with Concours condition vehicles are encouraged to nominate in the ten festival classes.
- Motors & Masterpieces is flexible to work with you so that you can maximise your experience.
I need to get a gauge of who and how many of us are interested to display their Audis, and on which day that you prefer? So please let me know as soon as possible (by the end of this Saturday 5th Oct 2024)
(Just for reference, in 2019, we displayed at MotorClassica at Royal Exhibition Building on a Saturday, photo above)
Many Thanks
Edwin Conan
